Course Overview
Take to the skies of Kansas City and begin your journey to become a Private Helicopter Pilot! This course certifies you to fly any single engine helicopter as a Private Pilot. If you want to fly your friends and family or for your own transportation purposes, this is the course for you. This course is also the starting point for a career as a professional pilot!
This course is designed to take the beginning student through the Private Pilot Helicopter Certificate.
Spend approximately an hour talking to an instructor about each component of the helicopter, then fire up the helicopter for a half hour flight where you get to take the controls. At the end of the course, you’ll receive your SFAR 73 sign off – a required certification to fly a Robinson R44.
